Chapter 515: Advance

Jeffery was on his knees, his head bowed to the ground as Cain looked down on him from above. Cain wanted to see, see if his spirits had been broken...

Jeffery’s body trembled briefly, but he still raised his head to gaze into Cain’s eyes. Cain could see a myriad of emotions, ranging from pain, to sadness, to frustration, to anger, but his eyes didn’t show an inkling of weakness or backing down. Infact, they shone even brighter than before. There was a new sparkle in his gaze, one that could tell a story or two from what he had just gone through...

"Boss! I’m willing to join you!"

Jeffery sprang to his feet like his butt had been lit on fire, and saluted to Cain. Cain simply smiled at the scene. Meanwhile, after seeing the outcome of the match, the observers made a conclusion. They were almost 100% certain that the reason why Dan was so powerful, and could defeat one of the strongest in their group was all because of Cain. Whenever they looked at Cain, their hearts were filled with respect.They became aware that the powerful would only follow those more powerful than themselves. In this day and age, security was what people valued the most right after food and water, thanks to the lack of any form of life insurance...

"Boss!"

""Leader!"

"Give us strength as well, leader!"

Shouts came from within the crowd, as they all saluted at Cain.

Not one to stand on ceremony, Cain accepted them all immediately.

"Good. I can’t promise you all much, but what I can do, is to make sure you all grow powerful, eat and drink you fill every night, and never die without reason. You will never be allowed to waste your lives under my watch! If you do die, then your heroic deeds in death will be etched on the sands of time, and in the hearts of we brothers that you leave behind!!!"

"Boss!!!"

The men were almost in tears as they listened to Cain give his speech. If they were only halfway in previously, then their commitment had just doubled thanks to Cain...

If Cain had to give himself an award, then it would be for his ability to sway the crowd with only a few words. He was very serious about what he however. He was a man of his word, as he meant every word he said. He would use all the power in his hands to make sure he keeps to his word.

"Alright, settle down!. Now, do you guys want to know why I and my teammates are so strong?!

"Yes boss!"

"Do you want to get stronger than you already are?!"

"Yes boss!"

"Are you sure?!"

"Yes boss!"

"I can’t hear you!!!"

"YES BOSS!!!"

"Good. Let me show you just the tip of the iceberg." Cain was satisfied with their response. He had managed to get their blood boiling. This was the way into the hearts of hot blooded men, turning them into your soldiers.

"Armory!"

Suddenly, the lemniscate appeared behind Cain. The pale illumination of the ethereal symbol stunned everyone except for Cain’s teammates who had already seen it when he gave them their armor and weapons.

After a brief moment, the symbol flashed one more time before it disappeared, and was replaced with a huge rectangular metal box. It was over 10 feet tall, with all sorts of runic carving engraved onto it’s surface. At the center of the rectangular structure, there was the symbol of infinity, as well as a flashing spacial attribute mana shard. This was the mana shard Cain had gotten from the troublesome mutant monkey he had killed earlier.

"Open!"

The doors of the armory slowly sung open, and a cold frosty air began to escape from the interior.

"Oooooooo!" All those who saw it had their breath escape their lips in shock. Their world had been turned upside down, and things they never thought was fairytale, the impossible, had been playing out in their day to say life. They thought they had seen it all. They didn’t expect this however, and we’re shocked by the capabilities of their new leader. Never had they thought it was possible to create what they were seeing before them.

Apparently, the path to true greatness was built on effort, not on what is offered. Cain had gone the extra mile to improve on what he was given, and he was constantly using his skills, trying to improve them and Increase the overall survivability of not only himself, but others around him. This was it! This was what a true leader was!

Within the armory, the walls were embedded with icy blue frost attribute mana shards. This was to provide good conditioning and environment for the weapons and equipment within. The entrance to the armory was wide enough for 3 people to walk in without any discomfort, so it was easily accessible to everyone here.

"Get in, all of you! We don’t want to waste any more time, now do we?" Before Cain could even finish saying what he wanted to, they all rushed in.

Rows and rows of different attribute weapons and equipment lined the walls of the storage. There were definitely more than a hundred sets of weapons within this place. They all noticed that the interior was larger than the exterior by far. On the outside, it just looked like a box. It’s width was just about a few centimeters in length, making it look like a fancy metal wardrobe. However, on the inside, it expanded by many times. This was due to the spacial attribute mana shard that was embedded into the armory as the core. It expanded the interior of the armory by a number of times.

"Wow!"

As Cain’s new subordinates entered into the armory, they were all dazed by the sheer amount of powerful equipment. As of recent, the rate of equipment drops had dwindled to nearly zero, and the system equipment was very basic and normal. It was near impossible to get the level of equipment Cain had made. The weapons were all rare grade, and the armor were all normal armor set equipment. This was different from normal individual pieces. Each individual piece of the armor set was a rare grade equipment. Hence, it was many times more powerful than a regular combination of normal grade equipment.

"Take your pick..." Cain said with a sly smile.

It was like a bomb went off.
